All the restaurants in the chain work actively with sustainability issues and are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, the official sustainability ecolabel for the Nordic countries. The disposable material used is two-thirds recyclable and compostable. Food scraps, combustible waste and plastics are separated separately. M\u00e4ssrestauranger’s CEO Maria Stridh is one of the founders of the Sustainable Restaurants network, which serves as a knowledge network for restaurants that want to work more sustainably. In 2019, Maria received the Sustainable Hero of the Year award.<\/p>\n
