Harry Plotter<\/h1>\n

Harry Plotter is Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan’s own robot plotter that is tasked with drawing out stand locations and walkways for a fair. The plotter improves Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan’s production time by almost 88%.<\/p>\n

A success story
since 2003<\/h2>\n

It all started as a development project back in 2003. Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan then contacted the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm with the aim of developing a robot plotter that could facilitate the work of developing stand locations for fairs – a task that many other organizers still do by hand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan has the robots Harry, Hagrid and Hanna, three heroes who create great things with their work. The markings Harry drew are then used together with the coordinate system in the floor (the markings are a total of 8x8m) when laying out walking mats.<\/p>\n

“It takes about five hours for Harry to design Hall C for a trade fair. The programming means that Harry has an accuracy of 2 cm in his placement,” says Rikard Sk\u00e4rebo, Production Manager at Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Among other things, the robots help us:<\/strong>
– reduce production costs
– reduce lead times
– reduce strenuous work<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong>
– The hall is cleared
– CAD drawing is loaded
– Design starts<\/p>\n
