Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan is an active partner in the collaboration and marketing project Sustainable Meet Stockholm, which aims to promote Stockholm as a sustainable meeting destination. As the largest meeting place in the Nordic region, Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan wants to be at the forefront and contribute to a more sustainable meeting industry, and part of the work is to collaborate with the entire meeting industry to strengthen Stockholm as a sustainable meeting destination.<\/p>\n

Stockholm has a good reputation and is considered at the forefront of environmental and sustainability issues. But good work is not always reflected in international rankings. Sustainable Meet Stockholm wants to change that.<\/strong><\/p>\n The aim of the project is to put Stockholm on the map as the obvious destination for sustainable meetings and events.<\/p>\n – As the largest meeting place in the Nordic region, we want to be at the forefront and contribute to a more sustainable meeting industry. In our new corporate strategy for 2023-2025, sustainability issues are even more prominent than before. Through collaboration, we will together create a sustainable meeting industry and strengthen Stockholm both internationally and nationally as a sustainable meeting destination,” says Linda Elm\u00e9n, Head of Sustainability at Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan.<\/p>\n Bringing the hospitality industry together<\/strong> It is a private initiative run by the tourism industry with Visit Stockholm as a strategic partner. Together with many qualitative and committed partners, Sustainable Meet Stockholm continues to collaborate in the long term to create a strong and sustainable meeting industry.<\/p>\n
The purpose is to gather the hospitality industry around a common communication and platform to jointly highlight and position Stockholm as a sustainable meeting destination on the international and national market and make Stockholm the obvious choice for sustainable meetings. The idea is to work together to make alternatives more visible to the customer and thus strengthen their own business.<\/p>\n
