In August 2023, Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan was presented with a challenge of epic proportions – to organize a grand awards gala for a European company celebrating its top salespeople from around the world. With a guest list of 2000 people and expectations of a spectacular and unforgettable experience, Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan was the obvious choice thanks to our ability to offer flexible, versatile and high-tech facilities. <\/strong><\/p>\n

From the initial inquiry to the event in May 2024, our team worked tirelessly with the client and the German event agency Pioneers Agency to tailor a solution that would not only meet but exceed all expectations.
\nAfter intense negotiations and several changes in plans, we were able to secure the contract in November 2023.
\nThe choice of venue, our flexible spaces and our adaptability were key factors in the decision.<\/p>\n

Planning this grand event required a lot of care and creativity. One of our largest event halls was to be transformed into a fantasy world inspired by Atlantis.
\nWith a focus on maximizing the guest experience, a unique environment was created where every detail – from lighting to themed rooms – contributed to an extraordinary experience.
\nGuests were welcomed through a tunnel to an impressive mingling area, and each country’s delegation arrived separately to begin their journey through a spectacular world.<\/p>\n

The choice of premises, our flexible spaces and our adaptability were key factors in the decision.<\/em><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Creativity and technical solutions on par with Eurovision<\/strong> The challenges were many, but they were overcome with creativity and technical skill. The power supply needed to be reinforced by running electricity from another hall, and raising LED screens and cables to the right height required both precision and expertise. In total, 102 tons of equipment were suspended from the ceiling, and 477 motors were used to ensure every detail was perfect. With 8.6 km of cable and 3.2 km of wire rope, we created a technical infrastructure comparable to that used during Eurovision.<\/p>\n

From an empty hall to a spectacular venue<\/strong> In just five days, the Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan team transformed an empty hall into a spectacular venue, taking guests through a visual journey that culminated in an impressive awards ceremony and after party. The award ceremony, which lasted almost four hours, took place on a stage that floated over Stockholm like a spaceship – a vision realized through advanced technology and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n

Australian world star on stage<\/strong> The evening was rounded off with a 50-minute concert by an Australian world star, which put the icing on the cake of an evening filled with magic and wonder.
\nIn the end, Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan managed to not only meet, but exceed our customers’ high expectations.<\/p>\n
