A BOAT FAIR WITH A LONG HISTORY<\/strong>
\nSince the early 1900s, Allt f\u00f6r sj\u00f6n has evolved from the world’s first boat show to being held at Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan since the 1970s. The fair has its roots in the 1920s when the Royal Motor Boat Club (KMK) revived the exhibition to awaken interest in motorboats as pleasure craft. Under the name Allt f\u00f6r sj\u00f6n, coined in the 1930s, the fair has continued to be an obvious meeting place for everyone who loves the sea. Since the 1970s and the move to Stockholmsm\u00e4ssan, the event has grown to become the Nordic region’s largest fair for boating and archipelago culture.<\/p>\n

BOATS, INSPIRATION AND FUTURE <\/strong>
\nAt this year\u2019s fair, we explore innovations, recycling, re-fitting, and smart technology to create a boating life that both inspires
\nand protects the environment. With a new female perspective, we celebrate the winds of change and highlight women who show that life at sea is for everyone. At the same time, we strengthen the sailing area, fill the hall with everything from family boats to classics, and make a big effort to spark interest in sailing.
