Security

The safety of our visitors, exhibitors, organisers and employees always comes first, with measures tailored to each event. Therefore, certain safety regulations may apply to different events, such as bag restrictions, access controls or special entry procedures.

Information about any specific safety measures can be found on each event’s web site. We encourage all visitors to read this information before their visit and to follow on-site instructions.

To further enhance safety, we have:

• CCTV surveillance in public areas
• Clearly marked emergency exits and evacuation routes
• Trained staff available to assist whenever needed

As an organiser or exhibitor you have access to a dedicated security team for support with safety and security matters:

• Security planning prior to the event
• Surveillance and access control
• Fire safety and evacuation procedures
• Advice on personal safety and protection of valuables

In collaboration with our authorised partners we also offer customised security solutions.

Stockholmsmässan is the first exhibition venue in Sweden to be certified according to the international SHORE (Safe Hospitality, Office, Retail and Exhibition) safety standard.

The certification covers, among other areas:

• Risk and crisis management
• Property protection and technical security systems
• Visitor and exhibitor safety
• Incident preparedness and continuity planning

This means that we meet high international safety requirements and are well prepared to handle everything from everyday situations to more complex incidents.
