Bag ban at Stockholmsmässan
Due to the current situation in society, the Police Authority has decided on a total bag ban at larger events in Sweden.
FAIRS
The decision on a total bag ban at larger events does not currently apply to fairs. However, Stockholmsmässan has made a decision regarding the Gymnasiemässan, where there will be a bag ban for visitors.
For further information regarding the bag ban, please refer to the respective event’s website.
OTHER EVENTS
Please note that we have several events where a total bag ban is in place, such as concerts, gaming events, and sports events, among others.

elevated terrorist threat level
The Swedish Security Service (SÄPO) has raised the terrorist threat level in Sweden from 3 to 4 on a five-point scale. The decision is not based on a single event and should be seen as a strategic and long-term assessment. The reason for the decision is a deteriorating security situation regarding the threat of attacks against Sweden and the assessment is that the threat will remain for a long time.
The Security Service urges us to live as usual and to be aware of the current security situation. City services are open as usual. We at Stockholmsmässan are monitoring developments and have an ongoing dialog with the police and the City of Stockholm.
Keep up to date with information from the responsible authorities.
