Sustainability days
We hold annual Sustainability Days and invite employees to raise awareness of the company’s sustainability work and inspire further sustainability initiatives. It is a unique initiative for employees during working hours.
A unique initiative
for employees
The Sustainability Days at Stockholmsmässan are based on the company’s three sustainability focus areas: Sustainable Community, Sustainable Environment and Sustainable Innovation. Each day focuses on the three focus areas to engage and involve employees in Stockholmsmässan’s sustainability work.
– The idea of the Sustainability Days is to raise awareness of our three sustainability focus areas while inspiring new initiatives. By bringing employees together, talking about sustainability, we increase engagement and create pride, community and confidence in the future. These days strengthen the company culture in a very positive way. “The sustainability days are an appreciated element of the work week that received a lot of praise from the employees at previous events – something we of course hope to do again,” says Linda Elmén, Head of Sustainability at Stockholmsmässan.
Days filled with activities
Sustainability days are filled with activities at different times of the day to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to participate. One of the highlights is an inspirational breakfast with an invited guest speaker. Employees will also be able to try out activities such as yoga, participate in knitting and clothing swap days and a props flea market. It is also possible to participate in a fair and production safari in the fair’s various halls with demonstrations of, among other things, Harry Plotter – Stockholmsmässan’s very own robot assembler.
Stockholmsmässan’s Head of Sustainability Linda Elmén is proud of the initiative and believes it will inspire others.
– I feel proud that we at Stockholmsmässan can offer our employees this opportunity during working hours. It increases the cohesion between us who work here, inspires new initiatives and increases knowledge about how we work with sustainability at Stockholmsmässan. We want to constantly develop our sustainability work and will continue with similar initiatives to become as sustainable a workplace as possible,” concludes Linda Elmén.
