New Strategic Partner for Food and Beverage

Published on June 29, 2026

Food and beverage at Stockholmsmässan should not simply be served — it should be experienced, shared and unforgettable. To realize this ambition, Stockholmsmässan conducted a concession procurement process during spring 2026 to find a long-term partner capable of developing a modern, scalable and competitive food and beverage offering — and further strengthening our position as one of the Nordic region’s leading venues for meetings, exhibitions and events.

A decision has now been made to enter into an agreement with Levy, the conferencing, sports and entertainment arm of Compass Group. Trusted by some of the globe’s most iconic venues and events, Levy designs and delivers world-class guest experiences which prioritise people and the planet. Levy has been operating in a wide variety of venues across Europe for many years, such as the Uber Arena in Berlin, the Barclays Arena in Hamburg, and Excel London.

– We are very pleased to have completed this process. The procurement has attracted considerable interest and several strong Swedish and international operators. In a highly competitive process, Levy demonstrated the strongest ability to translate our vision into a concrete offering, combined with international experience from some of the world’s leading arenas, convention and exhibition centres. Together, we see great opportunities to develop our offering and further strengthen our attractiveness to both Swedish and international organizers and visitors, says Mats Viker, CEO of Stockholmsmässan.

For Levy, the partnership also represents an important step in the company’s expansion into the Swedish market.

– We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Stockholmsmässan as part of our continued growth in Europe. It’s a strong venue with huge potential and gives Levy a great foundation in Sweden. We’re looking forward to building and delivering something distinctive together, says Jens Koenig, CEO of Levy Continental Europe.

– This partnership further strengthens our presence in Sweden and highlights Levy’s expanding international footprint. With our strong local network and established supply capabilities, we are proud to support Levy in delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences for Stockholmsmässan’s organizers and visitors, says Tess Waern, CEO of Compass Group Sweden.

The agreement will enter into force on 1 January 2027 and cover the majority of food and beverage operations within Stockholmsmässan’s venue. The contract runs for four years, with an option to extend for an additional four years, and has an estimated procurement value of approximately SEK 800 million.
