Discover something for every taste and wedding bug. On February 22-23, Bröllopsfeber, the country’s largest wedding fair, will be held at Stockholmsmässan in Älvsjö.
– “We want to attract all of Sweden’s brides-to-be to our fairs. At Bröllopsfeber you can keep track of current trends and find everything you need and more for the wedding,” says Classe Hultin, who is responsible for Bröllopsfeber.
BIG WEDDING OFFER
Bröllopsfeber is like a gathering place with lots of ideas and inspiration for everyone planning a wedding. Here you will find photographers, florists, hairdressers, makeup artists, musicians and much more. Wedding dresses and outfits, jewelry, invitations and tips for personalized goodie bags. Browse hotels and destinations for your wedding, party and honeymoon.
– The fair helps visitors understand what they need to consider. “Brides-to-be get attractive offers from exhibitors that save them money and give them room to bring in ‘nice to have’ products for their wedding,” says Classe.
Bröllopsfeber is organized in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö and lives all year round via Facebook, Instagram, blog and magazine. A survey conducted less than a month after Bröllopsfeber showed that 89% of visitors were satisfied or extremely satisfied with the fair. Nine out of ten visitors have not decided or booked a honeymoon when they visit Bröllopsfeber. 83% of those planning to get married will have between 51 and 100 guests at their wedding, with almost half saying they will have 100 guests or more.
– Bröllopsfeber, which is organized at Stockholmsmässan, has around 100 exhibitors and we expect around 5,000 visitors. There was no major decline in the number of weddings, but the corona pandemic and concerns about the economy meant that many people postponed the festivities and now it is becoming relevant to have that wedding party. Sustainability is growing stronger and is now a common theme at weddings. It started about ten years ago when people talked about eco-weddings. Today, it’s a given for everyone in the industry,” says Classe.
– Businesses have adapted and mansions and castles have become more environmentally conscious. Jewelers were perhaps the first to understand that
you have to think about sustainability. Then came the wedding dress industry, where today there are many designers who make a living by reusing dresses and materials. “It’s quite common to buy an expensive party dress instead of a classic wedding dress, or to sell or rent it out after the wedding,” says Classe.
